Nike later confirmed that the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly 3 would soon be released to the public. With this new version, Nike focused on refining the model, and after rigorous testing with athletes at Nike's Sports Research Center, it introduced key changes that allow for a more confident and stable run. This contributed to a more natural weight transfer from heel to toe .

The third version of the Alphafly features a redesigned look that emphasizes its dynamic nature. The outsole has been unified, and the combined ZoomX foam provides excellent stability and cushioning, enhancing comfort while running. Two Air Zoom units in the forefoot, along with the ZoomX foam, enhance energy return with every step. A full-length, slightly wider carbon fiber Flyplate also features, ensuring maximum dynamics and enabling confident and smooth strides during even the most intense runs.

The third iteration features an updated Atomknit upper, designed to provide a better fit and breathability. Additionally, special laces with notches allow for convenient lacing. The integrated tongue is made of knit fabric with a higher-volume lining , reducing lace pressure on the back of the foot. Heel padding enhances comfort. Reinforcement around the midfoot enhances stability, and a molded sockliner supports the lower arch.

The outsole features strategically placed abrasion-resistant rubber, which also increases traction.
