The Inov-8 Mudtalon is a model that was created based on 20 years of Inov-8 experience, which was recognized as the best cushioned mud running shoe from Inov-8. Improvements in grip, cushioning, protection, durability, shape and fit have been applied to meet the needs of runners who run in both mountain and more forested terrain. Its brother is the lighter, lower Mudtalon Speed, which is designed for fast running in mud and soft trails.

Compared to the Mudtalon Speed, the Mudtalon has a slightly thicker midsole , providing more comfort and bounce when running long distances . Despite the extra cushioning, the shoe's midsole has been designed to still be able to feel and react to the ground beneath your feet, which is especially important when traversing hills and mountains.

The new shoe shape , which will be featured on all new Inov-8 models in 2024, perfectly adapts to the natural shape of the foot, locking in the heel and expanding in the toe , providing greater comfort , confidence in every step and uninterrupted performance.

The POWERFLOW PRO foam midsole is super lightweight , springy and cushioning , while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and ground feel essential for running on uneven terrain. The 6mm thick Boomerang sockliner contains hundreds of expanded TPU beads, providing greater energy return and cushioning, as well as facilitating moisture management.

The upper is made of ballistic nylon for excellent durability, breathability and moisture management . MET-CRADLE zigzag material overlays connect the midfoot, lacing system and heel for excellent, secure hold .

The outsole features STICKYGRIP rubber for even more grip on wet rocks and muddy paths . Flex grooves underfoot and larger lugs in high-wear areas extend the life of the outsole, providing even more flexibility and grip on challenging terrain.
