Hoka Clifton 9 Gore-Tex is the flagship asphalt model of the Hoka brand, which is characterized by great versatility. Created with comfort in mind while running on a hardened surface, both during everyday training and longer runs. The key change was made in the midsole. The oversized construction remained, but the sole was equipped with an increased amount of CMEVA foam ( 3 mm more than in the eighth edition of Clifton), which guarantees even greater softness compared to its predecessor and responsiveness. The extended sole in the heel area ensures a soft landing. The construction still uses meta-rocker technology. The characteristic, slightly rockered appearance is responsible for a smooth foot roll and stability and certainty of the step , while reducing the feeling of fatigue when covering long distances.

The Clifton 9 also gains an updated rubber outsole. Lightweight Hi-Abrasion rubber is strategically placed to provide traction and durability.
