The Hoka Mafate X midsole combines two types of foam: ultra-soft PEBA , closer to the foot, and a more durable layer of EV-A foam underneath. A fork-shaped carbon plate is embedded in the sole, stabilizing the shoe , supporting foot transition, and helping maintain pace on variable terrain.
