Black Diamond Distance 8 BackPack U Black

The Black Diamond Distance 8 is a lightweight backpack designed to keep you comfortable from trail running to rocky climbs. It combines the technology of a running vest with systems also used in alpine backpacks to be able to take the equipment we need on the trail.

It is constructed from UHMWP 10x Ripstop yarns , which is the strong material used in Black Diamond climbing equipment and their lightweight Camalots.
The Distance fabric is 10 times stronger than steel in terms of weight, but remains light and floats on water .

The special system used on the shoulder strap harness has seamless edge gluing technology, i.e. it is fully glued, not sewn, which resembles much more innovative sportswear than a traditional running backpack. As a result, we gain great comfort, freedom of movement and weight reduction. The harness also features an adjustable lateral compression system with an elastic cord to ensure safety while climbing and running.

The backpack has double pockets that hold two BD HydraPak 500 ml Softlask bottles - they are not included in the set. There is also a Deploy pocket that is used to store the BD Deploy Wind Shell. The internal partition wall is made of stretchable mesh, which is used to store, for example, a water bladder. There is also an internal zippered pocket that can accommodate keys and a wallet. Additionally, double, 4-way stretchable front pockets with zippers and their volume can be increased. The backpack has double Z-Pole Quiver sleeves in which you can store trekking poles.
The back panel is a vapor barrier using BD.dry™ technology, which allows sweat to escape freely and at the same time keeps the contents of the backpack dry.

There are also reflective details that increase safety when moving in the dark.
